I'm frequently asked to name my favorite movie. I can't. There are many movies that I love, but they aren't all great, or as moving or important to me as these are.

Here are some of my favorites. I'm trying to hone this list and, at the same time, eventually increase the number to 100. That still doesn't mean that some movie that I may have very much enjoyed last week will ever make this list. For what it's worth, these are all movies that I either have or of which I covet a DVD copy.
